For the first time a keyboard is combined with 49 semi-weighted keys and aftertouch as well as 12 MPC drum pads with four pad banks for altogether 48 triggered sounds. The pads bring along the popular note repeat function.
The MPK49 Keyboard has its own MIDI-apreggiator so it can let off quicker, more creative riffs with a modicum of effort. Through the MPC-typical swing-quantise and the possibility to change the rhythm, you can give the groove its own note. Like the popular MPC-series the Akai MPK49 features the full 12-level-function to control sounds precisly. The Tap Tempo Feature allows tempo-alignment in real time.
The altogether 72 assignable controller-inputs for the expression pedal and a sustain-pedal as well as a pitch bend/ modulation wheel complete the Akai MPK49 and invites you to enthralling performances.
